Partnership Guidelines

All businesses desiring to be a partner of Experience Kissimmee and listed on ExperienceKissimmee.com must be tourism-related or offer tourism-related services.  Tourism-related categories for listings include accommodations, attractions & activities, restaurants, etc. All partners must have a working website.

ACCOMMODATIONS

All properties requesting accommodation listings must be licensed with the State of Florida and must be current in Osceola County resort taxes. 

Lodging entities, hotel or vacation home rentals, shall be located in Osceola County (Management companies may have an address outside of Osceola County; however, the vacation units must be located and marketed as Osceola County). Properties will be listed under ONE of the following categories.

  1. Hotels
  2. Vacation Home Rentals (Homes, condos) - Vacation Home Managers must verify the management of at least 5 vacation rentals in Osceola County in order to become a partner.
  3. Campgrounds

For all lodging categories the following applies:

  1. You must have an Osceola County Occupational License (Tax Receipt) (http://www.myfloridalicense.com/dbpr/hr/Servicesthatrequirealicense-Publiclodging.html)
  2. You must be licensed/registered with the State of Florida (http://www.myfloridalicense.com/dbpr/hr/Servicesthatrequirealicense-Publiclodging.html)

NON-ACCOMMODATIONS

THEME PARKSMajor National Branded Theme Parks (Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, Universal and Legoland.)

ATTRACTIONSAttraction partners fit into this classified category based on multiple acreage properties that feature a variety of activities within the area, including on-site places to eat. Attendees are able to spend from ½ day to an entire day without leaving these entertainment facilities (Old Town, Fun Spot America, Gatorland, Kennedy Space Center.)

ACTIVITIESActivity partners fit into this classified category based on a focused action, usually having a shorter duration of time spent (1-2 hours) at the facility (examples are below.)

  1. Restaurants
  2. Golf Courses
  3. Museums/Historical Sites
  4. Shopping
  5. Dinner Theaters
  6. Outdoor Activity (Fishing, horseback riding, airboat, mini-golf, air excursions)

Our first responsibility is to promote tourism entities in Osceola County. However, if Osceola County does not have a specific, unique tourism product, Experience Kissimmee will promote partnership to other products that are outside of Osceola County.

MEETING SERVICES – Meeting Services products are listing on ExperienceKissimmee.com under Meetings and Sports. These services are tailored to groups and meetings in Central Florida (catering, team building activities, event décor, florists, DJs, photography, etc.)

Application Process

All prospective partners must complete an interest form for partnership approval.

In support of Experience Kissimmee’s family-friendly destination brand, applications considered for tourism partnership must be suitable for all members of the family and not be considered inappropriate for children. Inappropriate products include those that depict nudity, sex, high violence, profanity, ethnic slurs, drug use, and racism. 

Please allow two weeks for the processing of your application. New partners will be notified personally and be given a thorough account of partner benefits, product placement, as well as specific marketing programs suited for the product.
